The final day of work involved digging one last line of plots in the early hours to avoid the heat. After that we needed to make sure we had enough photos to document the foraging pits. It was nice to be able to drive around with the soul purpose of photographing. Of course, not all the wildlife appeared, but enough did to keep it all exciting.

After all the field work was done, we set off the Broken Hill and Silverton. We did take a wrong turn somewhere on the way out back to Silver City Highway, but eventually, we got there and then the 2 hour drive to Broken Hill. Silverton is a highlight of Broken Hill, even though its not in Broken Hill itself, its only a 25 minute drive out there. It is primarily known for its set locations for films like Mad Max 2.
