#sofarsyd – The September Sofar Sounds was at Arcadia Liquors in Redfern. I was actually there on Friday and then onto Porteno for dinner. Today was just to check out the gig and try out my new 70-200 f4 lens. I’ve been meaning to get one for a while, so I’ve finally bought one in preparation for my trip to Scotia next week! I decided with the f4 version over the old f2.8 as it was lighter and the VR was pretty insane. I’ve been told its as sharp, and doesn’t have the focus breathing issue. It has worked pretty well. I’ll have photos in a few weeks so we’ll see if it was a worthwhile purchase!
Guyy, The Campervan Dancers and Elliot the Bull. Caitlin Harnett seemed to have pulled out from appearing. They were all good acts, but non were particularly exciting for me to want to go out and see again. It was a good location to host the acts and there were plenty of seats provided which was nice!
And there was a headshave for charity as well.
