Well, not that it freaked anyone out, but I did get back from America, but since then, its been work, work, work, assignments, assignments, exams and exams. I just finished my last exam as of an hour ago. Project Management wasn’t too bad as an assignment and exam, but Finance is something way beyond me. I was stressed quite a bit over the last 4-5 days, but I’m glad its all over. Strange thing about Finance & IT as a subject is that, it is purely finance with small tie ins with IT. The last lecture summed most of it up, but it wasn’t in the final exam which was a bit bizarre.
So since I did get back… A NEW BIKE! This time is is a road bike – Felt F55. I haven’t taken photos of my new baby yet, but I will. I’ve had a couple short rides on it, but will be cycling more and more in the following weeks.
Currently at work, I’m on the verge of 2 separate releases. One of which is a bug fix release which has been going on for the past couple weeks. The other is a major release which has been in progress of nearly 3 months now. I did take a break in the middle of that one though. Once thats done, I’ve got a project to bring our current “web” architecture to the new “Web 2.0”. Not sure which technologies we’ll adopt as yet, but I’m sure we’ll narrow that down over the next few weeks. It will be all open source and at least involve some PHP.
I’m glad to be able to write again. It just means a lot of stress has been riding on me every day and I’m finally able to get away from it all.
