Day 2 – woke up at 5 am – lift to the greyhound bus depot to hop on my 2 hour bus to Whistler village. Picked up by gear and coffee and lessons started at about 9:30. Snow boarding is… SO MUCH FUN. No sore muscles or bones at the moment. I can weave all the way down a slope, but as I gather speed, its a bit freaky because I can’t quite stop smoothly enough and possibly avoid hazards apart from falling over – which is fine by me. I hope to bring my camera with me tomorrow – since when we had lunch at the top of the Whistler Gondola there was an amazing view of the whole village AND it was snowing! First time I’ve seen real snow falling! Absolutely amazing. I hope to get some images tomorrow of the village. Another 5 am wake up tomorrow.
