So I ended up bringing my camera with me to the Whistler yesterday… Problem was that there was no blue sky! As you’ll be able to see, there was good snowfall on that day. The previous day, we were having lunch at the top of the mountain and there were gorgeous views of the valley and the peak2peak gondola. I ended up with a few pictures from the morning and a lot of condensation in the evening before I left.
Last night, I had dinner out on Robson St and a walk about the town so I could familiarise myself with the skytrain and where I am exactly. Snapped a few shots of Science world and Robson St.
This morning, I took the camera with me again, but no blue sky. Strangely, but I’m sure there’s a good reason that both my batteries ran flat over… about 180 images. I’m hoping that its just the temperature.
Well possibly the last of snowboarding for this trip today. I’ve had my 3 lessons, and its been a lot of fun. I’m linking my heel edge and toe edge turns nicely and we ended up with a good 3 – 4 runs of the whole mountain from top to bottom. I can finally get a rest and NOT get up at 5 am tomorrow – sleep in a bit and go explore the town!
