Its been one of those weeks which you look forward to for a whole year but unlike most years, this one was filled with server upgrades and the release of the latest version of my application. The work Christmas Party was at Doltone House – no photos taken – I had given myself a break from photographing and also worrying about my camera and ended up having a blast. I got home at 6:30… big night. Tomorrow the newest version of my application is going out. Hope all goes well. Its all running on a newer server which won’t necessarily increase a single users speed, but the speed will increase when multiple users are hammering the server.
Apart from work, I’ve been told to take the few days in between Christmas and New Years off and I thought it’d be 11 days of boredom so why not go on a holiday. I’ll heading to Vancouver on the 27th and back on the morning of the 6th. I’ll be boarding at Whistler for the first 3 days I get there, and then relaxing a bit and cruising the town photographing and nothing more. I’ll be crashing at a friends place – who was kind enough to let me stay. I don’t want to have high hopes on the photography aspect, but this will be my first photography expedition since Europe didn’t really count.
